Rodger Pool

Rodger is a valuable part of the extended Clarian HR team as he is a Barrister & Solicitor who practises exclusively in employment law.  With over 25 years experience in employment relations and human resources management, Rodger enjoys and has a wealth of practical experience in helping clients to successfully manage their way through difficult employment issues.  The Clarian HR team can vouch for his ability to blend technical legal expertise with practical organisational experience which makes him an invaluable and trusted advisor to our clients and our team.

Prior to his formal study of the law, Rodger operated his own business consultancy focusing on employment law and employment relations. He also has significant experience as a senior human resources management practitioner in the corporate sector and is a certified master coach with the Behavioural Coaching Institute (Australia) and a qualified psychological test user (MBTI, Hogans and SHL).

Rodger’s clients have covered a wide cross-section of industry sectors including manufacturing, health, local government, aviation, newspapers, commercial printing, magazine publishing, finance, banking, telecommunications, professional services, IT, non-profit organisations, and private individuals.

Rodger is a member of the Auckland District Law Society, the New Zealand Law Society, the Employment Law Institute and the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand.
