I am a non executive director of Clarian Human Resources and have more than 20 years experience in financial services with an expertise in general management; spending the last eight years at New Zealand Guardian Trust.

While working at New Zealand Guardian Trust, I managed client assets totalling $220 million and managed the Auckland and Remuera branches eventually combining these to one entity. My key areas of responsibility included providing asset management advice, estate and tax planning structures while implementing business development initiatives, and technical and behavioural skills training.

My passion for people management and training resulted in an innovative sales and services philosophy which fundamentally changed the structure and culture of the organisation to one that recognised talent, empowered new leaders, and delivered financial goals with exceptional efficiency.

I bring this passion into my role at Clarian and having spent 6 months in the business in 2009, I continue to have a hands-on role with the team.  I act as the chief financial support and a strategic advisor to the consultancy, and implemented a CRM system during my time in the business.
